Starting The Offline Capture
Turn the 360° camera on, press the Quickcapture (bottom left circular button below the screen) and place the camera on the bump-cap and put the bump-cap on your head.
Note: It is import to check that the camera is capturing in timelapse mode, 5.7k, 0.5 sec intervals.
Begin the scan
Walk around the property in a controlled manner. This includes every accessible space - both inside the house and out.Capture multiple angles per room. Ensuring you enter the room and navigate to the far side.
In the garden and at the front of the house - walk to the furthest point from the house so the 360 camera can capture the property in its entirety.
Loop - Looping is an important part of the capture. This is when you cross paths on a capture, ensuring that two points of data match with one another.
Scan the roof
Use the extension pole with the 360 camera to capture the roofwalk along all the property’s elevations and keep about a meter distance between you and the wall.
Loop back to the beginning of the capture & press the Quickcapture button to end the capture and turn device off.
Your capture is complete!
Uploading To The AIM Platform
Connecting your 360 camera to your PC with the USB cable
Access the 360 camera folder and navigate to DCIM / Camera Folder
You will see an INSV file or multiple of them depending on how many scans you did that day. The captures you have done that day will be listed in time order. All you need to do is remember the order of the properties you visited and upload the INSVs in that order
Create your site on the AIM Platform
Log into the AIM Platform and click on the + button at the top right of the dashboard page, then click on Add Site.A site creating page will pop up - Fill in the site details then click save at the bottom of the page.The site page will appear - Click the Twin Data icon then click the Upload 360 Video button at the top right of the page.
Fill out the Site Upload Details & drag your INSV file to the upload video section.
Click save and you are done!
